The mosque, which was built in 1500 Akkoyunlu era by Sultan Kasim, is rather known for its minaret. The mosque is square planned with one dome. In the mosque, there are 3 windows on sides and 2 windows on north and south, all of which had indentations covered with arch both on the inside and outside.
Minaret was built on a single stone column with four sides. According to this belief, anyone who crosses under these columns for seven times has his/her wishes become true. The structure is the only minaret example of Anatolia with quadruped minarets. The four feet of this minaret represents 4 Islam sects.
